These are just a few of the little thoughts that have helped to get me through the day or assist me in process of getting a client or associate out of a deep pit of “Stinkin’ Thinkin’.” Enjoy. Make yourself at home, take your shoes off; ya’all come back now, ya hear!
*** Remember the “Golden Rule,” Always treat people the way that you would like to be treated!
*** Money isn’t everything! If you’re not having fun, please, do us all a favor and go do something else.
*** We’re all put here on this crazy planet to help each other out. The sooner we realize this, and get on with it, the sooner we can all go home!
*** It’s better to do ONE thing fast, than to do MANY things “Half Fast!”
*** Never lie or cheat, under ANY circumstance. The one you really end up hurting in the long run….. is yourself!
*** Those who refuse to learn from the tragedies of history are doomed to repeat them!
*** Every “BIG” business was once a “small” business. Every long-term, client was once just some stranger asking questions.
*** If you’re not a “GREAT WRITER,” hire yourself one. It will be the smartest investment you ever made!
*** If it sounds too good to be true, click away fast and never look back! Then delete your “cookies” and run a security check on your computer, as you may have just unwittingly picked up some uninvited guests!
*** Always earn people’s trust before asking them for their money!
*** Never give away the store! If you place a legitimate value on the good work that you do, so will others, who are happy to pay for your expertise and professional services.
*** Don’t take yourself so seriously, we certainly don’t!
*** Never be afraid or too proud to ask for help! No one can do it all by themselves!
*** Sadly, some “shysters” believe: If at first you don’t succeed, become a “GURU” and then charge others an “arm and a leg” for the honor of teaching them how to fail just as effectively as they did.
*** Laugh out loud at least 3 times every single day! You’ll live a lot longer and be much happier. Stress and tension literally KILL!
*** Don’t believe everything you read, especially on the Internet!
*** They warn us that only the “Lead Dog” ever gets a change of scenery, but personally, I’ve always been more concerned about the constant smell during the journey.
*** No one cares how much you know, ‘till they know how much you care.
*** The internet is literally chock full of a bunch of “Sacred Cows.” These are unquestioned, dogmatic beliefs and rules that automatically limit creative thought and one’s ability to respond to opportunities with original, “out of the box” ideas. “Sacred Cows” tend to fill the air with stagnate clouds of unbreathable methane. I say tonight, “WE EAT STEAK!”
*** Remember, in business and in life, people’s main concern is “What’s in it for me?” Consistently answer that question well and solve their problems and you will become a very popular and valuable ally to many!
*** The greatest writers are by nature “Voracious Readers.” Turn off the TV, movies and video games and devour yourself a few good books! If not, kick back, enjoy your shows / games and let a real pro handle your writing needs!
*** Follow your deepest passions, dreams and vision and the money will naturally follow!
*** If you don’t really know what you’re talking about, please be quiet and stop adding to the confusion!
*** Rome wasn’t built in a day. Nor was it built in a month, or even a year. Lighten up a bit, trust in the process and stop to smell the roses and enjoy the scenery along the way!
*** Most free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it! Would you let a “FREE” mechanic rebuild you engine or a “FREE” doctor do your brain or heart surgery? Is your business something that you truly value? It takes money to make money. Invest in those professionals who really know how to grow and expand your business!
*** Always return messages in a timely fashion. Don’t blow people off. People are your “bread and butter.” People are your business!
*** Always be courteous, gracious, and professional. People deserve the “very best” you can offer and will forever remember and tell friends exactly where they found it!
*** Remember, most of these “so called” “Internet Gurus” are really just people like you and I, sitting at their computer set up on a card table in a corner of their living or bed room, working in their bathrobe or underwear.
*** Most of those “unbelievable online offers that come with a bunch of extra tossed in “Special Bonuses,” usually aren’t worth their weight in electrons. That’s why they are willing to “give away the store” to try to make a sale. Be careful out there.
